Olympus Superzoom 105R

I enjoyed taking 35mm photos so much that I decided to get a more manual/mechanical camera. This is my Pentax K1000, a fully mechanical camera that only requires a battery for the light metre to work. I was very happy when I got through as I felt like I was more involved with the camera with pulling the leaver for each photo, manually focusing when taking a picture and most of all as its an SLR I am looking straight down the camera rather than using a rangefinder. My favourite camera so far and have taken the most photos with. Camera is created around 1970s

Following the holiday to Clare with Ashleas nan, she spoke to me about a few cameras that they had and they were getting rid of and this was one of them. Initially this camera had an issue with the lens cover opening so I bought a couple of spares cameras to fix it but as they are all so old the plastic is getting weak and all of them snapped. Instead I now restricted how the doors open and it seems to be working.
I have not used this camera as I thought that it would be nice for Ashlea to use as it came from her family, she has almost used her first film roll so we will see how they come out.

This was the first 35mm camera that I bought. I did not have a clue what I was doing but I brought it on my holiday to Clare. I went through about 3-4 rolls of film and I was not disappointed with the results! The only thing I was worried about was as this is a sort of Range finder the square in the bottom left hand side of the viewfinder put me off but you only have to centre the picture there only off you are taking a picture close to something. Less than a few inches.
